Rose St Paterson Park:

5/19/03 Turkish Van boy: named "Ears", was born in the basement window of an abandoned rowhouse in April,2000. He has disappeared from Mrs Constance Hicks back patio. Ears could not be trapped in August,2000 but he moved down several houses to Mrs Hicks patio. He continued to live safely under the patio roof until this week. Herb visited 5/18/03 to inquire about Ears and found him badly emaciated. Herb returned with a net and trap on 5/19/03 but Ears was gone. The little fellow probably had FIV and wandered to another vacant house to die. Herb pulled out a bunch of bricks and blocks that juveniles had dropped into the basement window well where Ears was born. Other cats were present there on 5/18/03.

5/20/03 Sweet DLH calico: picked-up in alley where Mrs. Hicks was feeding her. Was pregnant and received Our Vet Care at Academy Animal Hospital. Dick Wilkinson has her in foster care. Took possession of three 8 week old puppies living under the kitchen steps with their mother. They were surrendered to MDSPCA. Will take the mother but the house tenant wishes to keep the remaining three puppies.

St. Helena, Dundalk:

Our Karen Ganjun took possesssion of three 6-week feral kittens. See our United Families under 05/26/03. Seven more kittens remain in the large backyard where the homeowners feed them. The homeowners have sterilized only two of the twelve adult cats. We plan to TTVARM all adults.
UPDATE: June 2003. Two mother cats moved their kittens away from the backyard after the three above were rescued. The homeowners are concerned and do not wish any more cats to be trapped and spayed.

Fells Point Baltimore City:

The weed lot on Caroline St. still has the two neutered grey boys in good health. On Bethel St, two kittens remain in the trashed, squallid warehouse. We need to remove large volume of trash, clean the entrance way and place traps. Their mother is one of two long fur slate greys born last year. On 5/21/03, another new tame orange boy arrived. He received Our Vet Care at Academy Animal Hospital and returned to Lisa.

5/30/02 Kittens in the derelect garage: At least one of two kittens from Gray DLH is still in the garbage garage. (That's right- a two story garage filled with garbage.)

PONCA ST:

The only remaining youngster of White Saddle Back Mother from August 2002 is now one year old. On 5/20/03, "Orange Boy" received Our Vet Care and was received to his grassy lot on 5/22/03. As of 5/31/03, he has not appeared at dinner time.
Mother Cat and a dilute calico remain unaltered at the site.
