MAJOR OCCURRENCE THIS MONTH WAS:
11/19/03 Grey/White Fluff Girl dies overnight at CNX Marine Terminal.
Herb found her body behind the office trailor on Sunday 11/23/03 5:00 PM.
Security Guard, Vince, cried when informed of the tragedy.
She was backed into a small hole in the ground. June Devilbiss of Wolfordsburg, PA who was to accept
the little girl as an outdoor companion was informed of the tragedy.
WEATHER WAS:
11/13/03 vicous windstorms two days.
constant rain 7:00-10:30 PM
11/19/03 Torrential rainstorm.
11/28/03 Torrential rainstorm beginning 5:30 PM. Vicious winds abated afternoon of 11/29/03
MONUMENTAL PIPE 10/31/03 Our Ben Kosmo daily feeds two large furry dogs in the storage lot. This A.M., the Black Chow type dog
crawled from the doghouse dragging his hindlegs. He had been hit by a car. Animal Control arrived and took possession of him.
W. SARATOGA ST. 11/13/03 Herb picked up a large brown dog wandering in the street. THe friedly boy was in danger of vehicle collision.
MDSPCA took possession of him as a lost dog.

11/02/03 is night #2 for Muscle Van Boy.

Grey/White Boy has been safely ensconced on a covered porch for a month. Tonight, the elderly couple were feeding him.

PONCA TRUCKING 11/06/03. Our neutered Orange boy (from last year's litter) appeared again and dined outside the bar.
11/20/03 Orange Boy ate on the concrete corridor.

11/08/03 Giant white-boy dined tonight.
Last visit from him was 10/11/03.
1621 BANK ST. 11/02/03 The fourteen population is: (2) tuxedo w/ stripe nose; (2) tabbies:
black/white chest fluff; black & white fluff; (3) small blacks; (3) big gray fluff;
momma tabby.
11/07/03 11/09/03 Tabby Mom was absent.
11/15/03 11/18/03 11/21/03 11/22/03 11/25/03 11/27/03 11/29/03: Tabby Mom is present.
ELLIOTT ST Elkie & Steve Kessell trapped a big tuxedo boy. His Leuk/FIV test at Eastern Animal Hospital was found to be FIV(+).
He was euthanized. A nice big boy and a real loss.
CAROLINE ST. 11/02/03 Tabby boy is present.11/06/03 11/11/03 Big Sandy head appeared and looks fine while dining.
FELLS PT. Began feeding several adults and two kittens at the Maritime.
11/11/03 Three kittens, several adults plus one probably expecting female.
WASHINGTON ST. 11/06/03 11/07/03 Tabby youngster and black youngster along with Tuxedo Mom are present.
11/09/03 Both youngsters are present. Picked up the Tuxedo Mom who feels expecting.
11/11/03 Dr. Lewis said Tuxedo Mom was expecting. She had existing Corpus Luteum on ovaries meaning a prior litter was recent.
/Released her right away. She went around to wall hole and entered. A few minutes later four five-week kittens emerged:
two dark, one gray, one creme. They are eating solid food. Mary Sullivan from Joy Purnell's Cattails, Inc. will take them for taming.
Herb is in process of trapping the whole group now.
11/13/03 The four kittens, Tuxedo Mom and Bighead Orange Father moved to garage building. Kittens not trappable tonight.
Tabby Youngster & Black Youngster are present.
11/20/03 Only Tabby & Black Youngsters present and hungry.
ON EASTERN AVE a young woman lost her three-week kitten down the storm drain. The police arrived with a rescue truck and attempted several
ways to retrive the kitten. Herb offered to provide a kitten trap but the police wished to call DPW. Herb departed because of this.
The police were kind in providing every effort possible to assist.
11/15/03. Herb met Miss Shirley who feeds the kittens and mother. Herb took possession of three garage kittens plus
a Sweet Tuxedo Boy who followed a man to his apt. He had kindly kept her for a month.
11/16/03 Sweet Tuxedo Boy admitted to Academy Animal Hospital for Our Vet Care.
11/19/03 Mary Sullivan took possession of the three Garage Kittens. Mary will hold them for three weeks arrange adoption assistance at
Defenders of Animal Rights, Inc.
11/21/03 Miss Shirley says Tuxedo Mom & last Dark Kitten were in garage during rainstorm 11/19/03 but not present next morning or thereafter.
11/25/03 Tuxedo Mom & Dark Kitten moved around corner and appear in good health.
11/27/03 Tabby & Black Youngsters with Bighead Orange Father & Tuxedo Mom are present.
11/29/03 Tabby & Black Youngsters with Tuxedo Mom are present.
BAYLISS ST. 11/23/03 11/25/03 Grey/White Girl (#309 in Our Statistics) was present after a long sabatical. She appers from time to time but must
be present every day for dinner.
CLINTON St. Our three cats are: Grey Fluffy Boy, White Van Boy and Bushy Boy: All three present:11/02/03 11/04/03 11/07/03 11/09/03 11/11/03 11/13/03 11/15/06 11/20/03 11/22/03 11/23/03 11/25/03 11/27/03 11/29/03.
11/21/03 Fluffy is absent. 11/06/03 Fluffy and white van present.
11/29/03 A brindle American Staffordshire with tight collar was on Clinton St. Herb corralled him in fenced area but the boy was too frightened for handling.
He gave brief chase to our cats but is not a fighter.
CLINTON @ BALTIMORE 11/17/03 Assisted Mary & Mike Russell with two white youngsters who were backyard born. Both received Our Vet Care at Eastern Animal
Hospital then boarded with the Russells. They remained in the backyard following release but their mother disappeared.
BUILDING 12 One Tuxedo present: 11/04/03 11/07/03 11/09/03 11/15/03 11/18/03 11/20/03 11/22/03 11/23/03.
11/25/03 The disappeared Tuxedo has possibly returned. The two are litter mates posssibly from July 2002 from the fenced lot at Rukert's Marine.
(UPDATE: 12/07/03 The missing boy appeared at Bank Building)
BUILDING K Our thtree cats are: Short-Tail Tuxedo, Long-Tail Tuxedo and Tabby Girl. All three present: 11/02/03 11/04/03 11/09/03 11/11/03 11/21/03 11/22/03 11/27/03.
11/06/03 Only Tabby present.11/07/03 Tabby and Notch Tuxedo are present.
11/13/03 Hurricane strength wind blowing from waterfront shaking the metal warehouse. Our three cats were present and were happy for a meal.
11/25/03 Only Brown Tabby & Notch Tuxedo present for several nights.
LAZARETTO Our Meow-Meow Tuxedo Fluff Girl: 11/02/03 11/04/03 11/06/03 11/07/03 11/09/03 11/11/03 11/15/03 11/20/03 11/21/03 11/22/03 11/23/03 11/25/03 11/27/03 11/29/03.
CNX MARINE Grey/White Fluff Tail present mid-month then died during the rainstorm 11/19/03.
She was probably "dumped" during the summer. She had survived the hurricane 09/19/03 but not this latest assault.
11/23/03. Herb trapped Tuxedo and one Calico Youngster at office trailor. Both received Our Vet Care at Eastern Animal Hospital and boarded with
Herb until 11/29/03. Then June Debilbliss of Wolfordsburg, PA took them home. The second Calico Youngster would not enter the trap.
Black-Straper had a notched ear and was probably prior neutered by Herb. He was FIV(+) and was euthanized 11/24/03.
Seems Tuxedo Youngsters not seen all month at Vane Bros. Probably killed by fox.
(UPDATE: 12/07/03 One Tuxedo Youngster returned.)

11/14/03 Two large german shepherds in alley. They're calm but possibly homeless.
11/15/03 Three black youngsters on corner.

ST HELENA #2 11/02/03 11/04/03 Several adults present. 11/07/03 Several adults and possibly kittens in the dark.
11/11/03 Eight various cats in yard. 11/22/03 11/25/03 Several in alley and yard.
YORKWAY 11/02/03 11/29/03 One black adult. 11/04/03 11/11/03 11/29/03 Liberty Corner- One black adult.
11/09/03 11/11/03 Possibly one black youngster moved one block.
MERRITT BLVD. 11/04/03 Working with a returned couple, corraled seven youngsters in their enclosed patio. Set-up two crates for the
couple to continue taming process that they were doing in backyard. Complaining neighbors forced the youngsters indoors.
The couple is attempting to get the mother.
PORTSHIP RD 11/08/03 Finally trapped the small gray-white mother and admitted her to Academy. Dried breasts indicate
a litter about six weeks ago. She is tame.
CHESAPEAKE PAPER Began last month monitoring the eight cats: Three siamese, one black, three kittens, XXX.
Mr. Walter Reed, security guard and fine gentleman, says last year a Russsion security guard,
Yokov, was retrieving kittens from the backlot and fostering those in the office. The present security guards, including James and a nice African woman,
continued Yokov's feeding of the cats.
SENIOR CO-OP 11/29/03 Muted Calico Girl with good size and weight received Our Vet Care and was returned to the elders for care.
