MAJOR OCCURRENCE THIS MONTH WAS:

Clinton St. - 05/20/04 The new slender black was present all month until today when roving wildlife chased her.
05/30/04 Mary traveled to Delaware trailer park and took seven kittens. This was Mary's second trip to help the good lady in an unpleasant atmosphere.

05/06/04 Herb meets with Mr. Brown, maintenance man. Herb traps two six week kittens in the building foundation.
05/08/04 Sabrina accepts the fairly tame Calico & Tuxedo for fostering.
Ann Burke of Rabon Ave & Herb see the resident "Jeannette of Spring Ct." from last March.
Herb had taken possession of a mother cat & kittens in a cardboard box on Jeannette's open steps in the rain. See Our Statistics 2003 #369, 380-383.
05/08/04 Ann & Herb feed three tuxedos and a gray boy. Probably kittens are remaining in foundation.
05/10/04 Lisa Wilson's husband, Jaime. and Herb set three traps in locked foundation.
05/11/04 Jaime & Herb trapped the kittens' mother. She is a Small Tuxedo probably a prior housepet forced outdoors.

05/18/04 Four cats: Possibly our Small Tuxedo. Two Blacks & a Gray.

Eastern & Robinson 05/01/04 Both Mommies and kittens well-established in their crates and thriving.
05/30/04 The healthy three kittens are now eight weeks old.


MILFORD MILL Rd 05/24/04 Josh Leppman trapped a White / Black who received Our Vet Care at Eastern Animal Hospital

DILLON ST. 05/05/04 Angela & Alex rescued a long fur gray kitten and trapped the gray mother who was probably abandoned.
05/06/04 Gray Mom received Our Vet Care at Eastern Animal Hospital.

MCCULLOUGH ST. 05/02/04 Charlene Williams says a litter of growing kittens in destroyed house.
Says a new Gray/White chased the two black boys in residence.
05/26/04 Charlene caught three six-week kittens. A neighbor took one and Herb took two. Herb caught a fourth kitten in the window sill of the rotting rowhouse two doors away. The second floor had a flooded bathtub with a drowned calico. Would need professinal elp to rmove the body.
05/30/04 MAry Fisher takes possession of the three kittens.
05/30/04 7:15 AM Charlene calls about another litter in the rotting rowhouse.

W. SARATOGA / CARROLLTON ST. 05/22/04 Gray Boy is safe in his grotto. Mr Givens says a New Sandy is present.
Calico DLH Mom looks fine. Mrs. Barnes says she had a litter last April. Says Gray Mom has a new litter. Search revealed nothing.


IRVINGTON Mary says one of the six rescued kittens has pan-leukopenia. She has the baby quaranteened from the others.
05/20/04 Miss Elsie says electric is still off. About six cats in backyard.

LOCHEARN - Liberty Rd 05/08/04 Miss Patsy cares for the abandoned companions in her backyard. Debbie Spicnall of Cattails took possession of a litter of kittens.
05/16/04 Herb picks up a litter of kittens by the shed. The mother refused the trap to retrieve her infants.
Herb traps the first mother and takes the three smaller kittens. Niece, Dawn, takes the two larger kittens. 05/17/04 We provided Our Vet Care for the mother.
05/17/04 Katherine Hayhoe of Cattails, Inc. takes custody of the three small kittens for foster cae.
05/18/04 Must be a third litter of smaller kits because because two captured kits were much smaller than the others.

They trapped two six week kittens in dirt basement. The Expectant Tuxedo was eager to eat but wouldn't accept trap.
