MAJOR OCCURRENCE THIS MONTH WAS THE
DISAPPEARENCE OF FLUFFY GIRL AT 1621 BANK ST:

Our girl with bushy tail and long fur - half black and half white. She was a friendly homeless cat who stayed on her block but often roamed adjacent blocks. Home owner Lisa Wilson daily caretakes these cats most of whom are spayed. The Black w/ White Chest Fluff disappeared suddenly on 1/13/04 and has not returned as of 1/31/03. Lisa is heartbroken.

The Gray Boy is surviving long term in his side-street alcove with garage hide-away.
He is getting a large box of wet & dry with every visit.
01/28/04 Gray Boy was present even with the mounds of snow.

LAWRENCE Rd.: 01/03/04 Mary Sullivan took three of the rescued youngsters to Defenders of Animal Rights for adoption.
Mary also took "Minnie" cat rescued from Washington St. (see below). Minnie plus two Hunt youngsters were adopted 1/10/04.
01/19/04 The Hunts caught a tabby boy who was probably abandoned. He received Out Vet Care at Eastern Animal Hospital and safely returned to the Hunts.

01/24/04 White Triple-Spot & Dark Calico were at the office. Tracks in backlot but none at Lever Bros. Youngsters were possible trapped at Lever Bros when the old electric shed was removed. They disappeared about that time.

Both Saddle-Back Youngsters, White Triple-Spot & Calico Mother were at the office.
This is the first time all month that three youngsters were present. Sadly, the second all white has probably disappeared.

NORTH POINT BLVD Mary Sullivan is continuing from Wendy Strickland with the McDonald's cats.
01/04/04 Gray twelve-week kitten and three adults at Wendy's. A number of youngsters and cats at McDonald's.

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION 01/29/04 Herb trapped the Strapping Gray Boy and admitted him to Eastern Animal Hospital. The Gray Boy wasn't fearful in the trap indicating a possible abandon and not a feral cat.
01/30/04 The Gray Boy was FIV(+) and was euthanized.
